Goodbye SHOT Show 2025
Seven straight days of working 20-hour shifts may seem excessive, but if you’ve ever experienced it, you know it’s pretty accurate. This year, during the official SHOT Show floor days, I worked with Trigger Hill—the fastest-growing social network and marketplace for firearm enthusiasts.
Day 1
I kicked it off with my first Range Day, hosted by Beretta USA, alongside Sako, Tikka, Norma, Burris, Steiner, and Langdon Tactical Technology. I had the opportunity to shoot some of the best products in the 2A space. The highlight? Winning the newest addition to the Tikka line, the T3x Ace ♠️!
It was such a blessing to be invited to this intimate event, and I truly hope to become more involved with the Beretta brand in the future.
Day 2
SHOT Show/NSSF Industry Range Day, where hundreds of brands showcased their products. The weather made things challenging with high winds and plenty of Las Vegas sand. From there, we booked it to a private indoor range experience with Holosun.
That evening, I attended The Gundies, where I was honored to be a TOP 5 Nominee for Photo of the Year.
Days 3-6 (SHOT Show Floor Days 1-4)
These days were all about straight tunnel vision and floor work with Trigger Hill. Nonstop action, connecting with brands building relationships, and gathering content for the platform defined the core of these busy days.
Day 5
The evening ended on a high note with a private event hosted by the Silencer Shop crew, who have consistently shown kindness and incredible hospitality both at their booth and with their team.
Day 6
By this point, I thought I had one more party left in me, but I decided to call it early. Instead, I treated myself to my first full meal in four days and spent the night editing.
Day 7
The journey concluded with my flight back home.
Next up is the Western Hunting & Conservation Expo in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the HuxWrx crew and some of my favorite ladies in the outdoor industry. Can’t wait for what’s to come!
